Blair McIntosh works alongside Conrad Nagle offering wastewater and septic
tank solutions and advice. Together they work with several manufacturers and drainlayers across the country to
offer an exceptional service. Over the years they have worked on new and existing residential builds, lakes catchment areas, restaurant/café systems, schools, pre-schools, Maraes, orchard toilet septic systems to international departments. They are enthusiastic to work with new and existing clients and enjoy a challenge.
Blair McIntosh – Director of BM Design worked for Kirk Roberts Consulting for 10 years prior to starting his company. During this time he was covering structural drafting, design manager, geotechnical services, stormwater, and wastewater disposal. Before this, he worked in the architectural industry for approximately 10 years. Blair enjoys spending time with his three girls, water sports, mountain biking, golf, and most social activities.
Conrad Nagle – A key contractor since 2022 with 20 + years’ experience with drain laying and working for Devan Plastics in the wastewater division. Conrad is known for being the ‘go to’ person in the Bay for wastewater and covers the country calling on installers and council offices offering advise & training, Conrad can quite often be found in a hole doing installs. Conrad is situated at Pukehina Beach and enjoys early morning walks on the beach with his dogs.
Wastewater design
We specialise in OSET/Wastewater design for residential to commercial projects. Our services include site
meetings, OSET reports, schedule 5, site evaluations, CAD site plans and details, wastewater disposal designs and options to suit your site, building and resource consent management, evaluating existing systems to remedial solutions.
Orchard septic systems
Providing high-quality, simple yet streamlined, future-proof orchard toilet systems that add value to your orchard. Working with toilet manufacturers and drainlayers that install orchard toilets on many kiwifruit orchards in the Bay of Plenty. BM Design are more than happy to meet you on site to take you through the process. We work closely with kiwifruit industry bodies, including the Bay of Plenty Regional Council,
Horticulture NZ, Zespri, and Southern Cross Horticulture to ensure our designs and solutions meet current & future orchard toilet requirements. We work with Capitol Trenching & Irrigation Ltd for the toilet units and Taylor Drainage for the septic tank install.
Architecture and structural drafting services:
Our Director Blair McIntosh has a Diploma in Architectural Technology (2005) and is a licensed Building Practitioner – Design 3. Blair works with several structural and geotechnical engineers in the Bay of Plenty.
BM Design specialises in new builds, renovations, and additions for residential projects. Services include concept plans, full working drawings for building consent and construction, 3D renders, and council building consent management.
